Hello, prompt please, to my child (13 days) have diagnosed a cerebral ischemia) and have registered tsinarizin, luminal, Cavintonum, Pyracetamum. But these medicines cause dermal allergic reaction (my assumption) whether It is possible to give these tablets to the kid and what then will be consequences? What can be the reason of this diagnosis? There can be you something to me will advise?

All these medicines at newborns are applied to treatment of an ischemia only in Russia. Their efficiency and safety has not been proved. Here a fragment from the book of children's neuropathologists prof. A.B.Palchika and. Item SHabalova:

Correctness of treatment gipoksicheskih lesions of a brain of newborns
Palchik A., SHabalov. Item
Gipoksicheski-an ischemic encephalopathy of newborns: a management or manual for doctors. SPb: "Peter", 2000

" In corresponding or meeting section main principles of treatment gipoksicheskih lesions of a brain of newborns are stated. Meanwhile, in neonatologicheskoj and a neurologic practice preparations of various groups are widely used, whose effect adequately is not studied or investigated at newborns and whose structure or frame causes essential objections against their application for newborns.

So-called vasoactive preparations. To them carry preparations of various groups (in particular, blockers slow 2 +-channels - Cinnarizinum, derivative vinkaminovoj acids - Cavintonum, etc.). The objection against purpose or appointment of vasoactive preparations consists in the following:
Preparations are not checked up " double blind " by a method;
Intensity of a cerebral blood flow at the given child is not known;
If intensity of a cerebral blood flow is known, is not clear, whether the present or true cerebral perfusion is adaptic or pathological in connection with essential fluctuations of a level of cerebral perfusion at the newborn after a birth;
What purposes are served with purpose or appointment of a vasoactive preparation: liquidations of hyperperfusion or liquidation of a hypoperfusion and whether need to be reached or achieved it or this for the given day of a life, at the given child; what means "to improve" a cerebral blood flow?
The preparations containing hydrolysates of amino acids, neuropeptids, etc.
It is possible to carry Cerebrolysinum to such preparations, aktovegin, solkoseril, kortreksin. The objection against purpose or appointment of these preparations consists that:
Preparations are not checked up " double blind " by a method, and in some cases at all were not a subject to any serious pharmacological control;
Comprise uncontrollable concentration opposite on the mechanism of action of biologically active ingredients (for example, in solkoserile contain gljutamat and aspartate - exciting amino acids and glitsin - brake amino acid, proportions of their maintenance or contents are not known; the need or requirement of the child for these amino acids at various stages NGIE is not clear, in one of which exaltation of the child, in others - oppression) prevails;
The pharmacodynamics of some preparations renders undesirable effect at a hypoxia (in particular, "antigipoksant" solkoseril raises or increases consumption by cells of oxygen, that is one of nejron-damaging or injuring factors in development NGIE);
Are hydrolysates, as a rule, bloods of large horned livestock, and thus possess allergogennym action; some preparations have distinct or clear by-effects (for example, Cerebrolysinum often provokes exaltation and cramps at children).
GAMK-ergicheskie preparations (Pyracetamum, Aminalonum, Phenibutum, Pantogamum, pikamilon).
The objection to use of these preparations is based or founded;established only on absence of controllable researches with the proof of efficiency of their action.
Similar remarks concern also to series fitoterapevticheskih and homeopathic agents "
