Hello! Your advice or council is very necessary! To the Boy of 17 years in February 2003 have diagnosed: a sarcoma osteogennaja a mandible (area 5, 6 teeth at the left, a teeth are removed). Disease has begun in fev 2002 with a parulis. Treated year, lives in Kiev, in fev 2003 have made a biopsy, pantogrammu, a blood (144; 6, 9; to the SOYA 5) rate did not rise. Radial therapy (2 courses on 30 doz-scale) and 3 courses of chemistry (1 Cisplatinum (90) + Doxorubicinum (70) is spent; 2 Doxorubicinum (70) + Cisplatinum (90); 3 holoksan (3, 0) + Doxorubicinum). Assimetrija cheeks has considerably decreased. But on pantogramme osteoliticheskaja the destruction of the left process has extended on a diagonal to the right on top of a bone in district of a teeth. Now offer chemistry: 1 metotriksat (20 22) + lejkovarin; 2 Cisplatinum (100) + Doxorubicinum (135 150, a catheter in a jaw); 3 repetition of the first. QUESTIONS: how much correctly such treatment? Where it is possible to consult (terribly to trust one doctor and one analysis!!!) whether it is possible to do without a surgical intervention? Many thanks for attention!

The chemotherapy to the boy, certainly, is necessary, but the most effective way to supervise such disease as the osteosarcoma, is a surgical sanation. Consult you can for the beginning in the ?-consultation (the letter to the address of L-onco-consilium@online.debryansk.ru or from a site http: // onco.debryansk.ru, - there, how much or as far as I remember, the Kiev experts participate also.
