DEAR DOCTOR, PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS. I do suffer from arythmia (I am 25) and take atenolol daily which helped greatly. I just wonder why sometimes when lying/sitting down and then sudenly standing up I sometimes feel as if my heart jerks or maybe beats really hard that I feel it. It is alittle different from regular arrythmia I experience sometimes. I am wondering what is causing it. Is it something to do with change in blood preasser? Is it really dangerous and needs to be inspected further?
