The big antero-lateral infarct

Hello!
Please, respond me to a question:
At mum the big antero-lateral infarct. Is in reanimation of 12 days.
Forces practically are not present. Does not rise, does not talk almost. From time to time there are attacks of a dyspnea or short wind.
Doctors do not give hope.
Whether there are any radical methods. Whether really on what to hope?
Thankful in advance.

Hello, Tatyana!

Unfortunately, any infarct is an accident. And though the forecast depends on many reasons - age, a status of the myocardium, accompanying diseases, he is always serious. Certainly, it is very difficult to give advice or councils from apart. It is difficult to tell or say, with what gravity of a status of your mum is connected. There can be a lesion of a myocardium so extensive, has what is it led to a serious heart failure. Now it is necessary to wait only. Well and after the acute status will end, it is necessary to borrow or occupy in struggle against an atherosclerosis and its or his risk-factors, as the reason of an infarct. About it or this I can write to you in detail in the further.
