Quality of a semen

I ask the help:
The husband month was on business trip, conditions of its or his job byly not the best.
We are in a stage of planning of pregnancy.
Question: whether the sexual certificate or act (in sense of possible or probable conception) after a monthly break (I have in view of quality of a semen after a month of continence) will be harmful or it is better to use for first time prezervati, and then to start planning?

That means " not the best operating conditions " - if contact to chemical harmful substances or something similar it is better to be protected and not once.. And in general it is better to hand over spermogrammu. And if no harmful influence chemical or radiative will exist, it is possible to not be protected
